Customers chose our Firm because: 1 . 2. Ability to contact Providers: All the provider's telephone numbers are given to the patient. So if patients want to discuss with the physician, physician assistant nurse or the clinical assistant staff, they can dial direct. No intervening persons or answering machines involved. The fear among the providers is that we may be overwhelmed with calls. Actually we are finding out that most patients are respectful of our times and most of the times a clinician need to answer the question any way. This is an exceptional feature that our customers and patient's primary providers like and appreciate a lot. 3. Access to Care: Our motto is to put patients in charge of their scheduling. We have created a web based program where the patients can chose the appointment timing that is most suitable for them. We are open on every other Saturday and open late on Wednesdays. Procedures and hospitalizations can be done at patient's preference, since the Firm is an independent from any major affiliation. Patients like this aspect a lot and feel they are able to direct their care and how it should be delivered. 4. Access to the Building: Unlike our competitors, our Clinic building is located with ease of parking, minimal walking to the office door, avoids driving through busy streets. Patients appear to like this feature a lot. 5. Access to referring providers: The referring physicians can directly contact us and able to get advice or discuss about their patients while the patient is still in their office. Many a time several next steps can be decided at that time, which saves trying to track the patients and other issues. Patient like this feature a lot and able to accomplish a lot in the same visit. 6. Charity Work: Up to the Director of each Division, services can be provided at a reduced rate of collection or for free. It was felt that this may lead to excessive number of uninsured patients and that we will not be able to recover the costs. So far this Division is working very well. Several collateral benefits are realized by this service. Patient's family with insurances, their contacts and friends appear to be attracted to our system, because we treated one person with dignity and respect regardless of their insurance status. 7. Inclusive Components: we have made every effort including a Spanish speaking clinical nurse, advertisements in patient's native language (like Sudanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish and sign language for the deaf). The customers like this feature a lot and they are made comfortable regarding their believes and culture. 8.
